There is no ‘correct’ CBD dosage. The optimal dose for a consumer depends on several factors, such as body type and CBD tolerance. The type of CBD product and its concentration are other important considerations, since some products interact differently with the body than others.

As with any health & wellness supplement, we recommend a “start low and go slow” approach for both humans and pets. If you want to see how your body reacts to CBD, we recommend starting out with the lowest doses and gradually working your way up to the amount of CBD that helps you feel better. Monitor the effects for one week and readjust the dosage if needed. Be patient and don’t stop your supplementation if you don’t see the results after your first dose. CBD works directly and indirectly to support the endocannabinoid system, so in many instances, it could yield the results over time. We’d recommend speaking to your doctor before taking CBD products, and/or making any changes to you or your loved one’s health regimen. Below are our recommended usage instructions for our CBD Tinctures and some of the most popular products.

Oils/Tinctures – Start with 1/2 dropper of oil under the tongue once in the morning and once in the evening for adults. For best results, hold the oil under the tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. Increase to 1 full dropper, as needed. If you don’t like the taste of CBD oil, you can mix the full-spectrum extract with your food. Add it to a smoothie, shake, salad dressing, sauce, or just drizzle a few drops over your meal.

Lotions – Apply a nickel-sized amount to the area of interest. Use liberally as needed.

Rollers – Apply a small amount (1-2 swipes) directly to area of interest, as needed.

Pets – Administer 1/4 dropper of oil (0.25 mL or about 5 drops) per 10 lbs of pet weight once per day.
